Two years ago we made our first CD, which all proceeds went to purchasing musical instruments for the local Veterans Hospital, in Palm Beach County. This year we are doing the same with the intention of purchasing a big screen TV for the "Day Treatment Program" and also trying to raise funds for "Recreation funding", which will supply food, partying supplies, for the entertainment for the patients.
PAMELA DAVIS AND HER MUSIC STUDENTS PAY TRIBUTE TO VETERANS
Pamela discovered a way to combine her love for music with honoring the life work of her Grandmother Minna D Levine by producing a CD to honor war veterans with proceeds contributing to the purchase of helping improve the quality of life for the VA patient at the Hospital in Palm Beach County. The CD is in honor of the selfless dedication of Minna and her devotion to improving the quality of life for veterans. Minna’s passion for helping veterans began when her husband served in World War I, and continued with over 20,000 hours of service throughout her life, attending to personal needs of veterans. Minna took pride in providing privacy for amputee veterans and founded The Amputee Veterans of America. Minna continued her service as National President of The War Veterans Auxiliary from 1950 to 1954, and she became a prominent

MEMORY OF MINNA D. LEVINE
In July 2004, on the first "For Our Veterans" CD, I was trying to
get my students experience in the recording studio
and came up with a plan to record an album of quality songs and donate the
proceeds to charity.
The question came up to which charity, and that is when it became clear that I should (in
my own small way)
honor my grandmother Minna D. Levine's
work which she spent her life helping Veterans.
I started assigning songs parts to
different students, to record in my studio,
Pamela Davis Recording Studios. The idea came to me that we could record a
CD of songs and sell them for the holidays.
Then the realization came to me that all proceeds
should go towards donating items,
for the local VA hospital in North Palm Beach, Florida.
The simple idea is to pass along our joy
of music to our recuperating veterans.
Now in my grandmother's memory
