Vocalises: Teaching
the student to use vocal warm-ups (vocalises) first are essential. A valuable method to
get (and to keep) the voice in shape. Being able to hear and sing individual notes is very
important in developing accuracy in pitch.
Working on contemporary songs that the student likes becomes a valuable learning
experience, once the student has a good understanding of vocalises.

I came to Pamela to study voice almost a year
ago. I felt I had an extremely limited range but was interested in developing my voice as
much as possible.
A year later, my range continues to expand and I am growing more confident in my abilities
as a vocalist and a song-writer. With Pamela's instruction, I feel
I've long since surpassed what I though possible, and can't wait to see
what else I can achieve!
